Diane Blackman, CPDT-KA has been training dogs for 14 years. She has trained her own dogs to compete in obedience, rally obedience, agility, conformation as well as training them for therapy dog work. Diane has titled dogs in AKC, APDT, NADAC and UKC venues. Before moving to upstate New York in August 2006, she was an instructor at the Bon-Clyde Learning Center in Sanford, North Carolina for seven years. She received the elite title of Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT) certification in November 2005 by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. Diane is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). She is an evaluator for the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen program as well as Therapy Dog International Inc. She is a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America. Diane is certified in human first aid and CPR as well as pet first aid.
