Diane Blackman, CPDT-KA - Owner & Head Trainer

Diane is the owner and Head Trainer. She teaches group classes, private lessons and dog/dog aggression behavior modification.

Training Experience:

• Trained dogs for 15 years
• Instructed at the Bon-Clyde Learning Center in Sanford, NC for seven years prior to moving to the Upstate New York in 2006
  
• Trained her own dogs to compete in obedience, rally obedience, agility, conformation and therapy dog work
• Titled dogs in AKC, APDT, NADAC and UKC venues
• Trained in behavior modification for dog/dog aggression cases
  

• Earned the elite certification of Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers in 2005
• Certified evaluator for the American Kennel Club's (AKC's) Canine Good Citizen program
• Certified evaluator for Therapy Dogs International, Inc.
• Apprentice Judge for American Temperament Test Society
• Certified in human first aid & CPR
• Certified in pet first aid
• Member of the International Association for Canine Professionals
