Diane Blackman, CPDT-KA - Owner & Head Instructor
Training Experience:
- Trained dogs for 15 years
- Instructed at the Bon-Clyde Learning Center in Sanford, NC for seven years prior to moving to the Capital District in 2006
- Trained her own dogs to compete in obedience, rally obedience, agility, conformation and therapy dog work
- Titled dogs in AKC, APDT, NADAC and UKC venues
Certifications:
- Earned the elite certification of Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers in 2005
- Certified evaluator for the American Kennel Club's (AKC's) Canine Good Citizen program
- Certified evaluator for Therapy Dogs International, Inc.
- Certified in human first aid & CPR
- Certified in pet first aid
- Member of the International Association for Canine Professionals
